Por eso lo hemos desmontado y revisado para averiguar por qu\u00e9 ha dejado de sonar.<\/p>\n<h2>Prevenci\u00f3n ante todo<\/h2>\n<p>Seguro que estaremos todos de acuerdo en esto: cualquier intervenci\u00f3n en un coche deber\u00eda realizarse \u00fanicamente si sabemos exactamente lo que estamos haciendo. En caso de duda, lo m\u00e1s recomendable es dejar el montaje de las <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.es\/s\/lp-piezas-de-recambio\/\">piezas<\/a> en manos de un profesional.<\/p>\n<p>Por lo general, un claxon est\u00e1 simplemente atornillado a la carrocer\u00eda, aunque en algunos casos puede ser necesario meterse debajo del veh\u00edculo para retirarlo. Por ello, aseg\u00farate de contar con suficiente espacio y soportes estables. Para avisar a otros o hacerse notar, el conductor ten\u00eda que gritar o recurrir a se\u00f1ales sonoras muy b\u00e1sicas. Con el tiempo, estos primitivos sistemas fueron evolucionando hasta convertirse en el claxon moderno que conocemos hoy.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy, en cambio, los coches modernos nos a\u00edslan del exterior. Hoy en d\u00eda, nadie levanta la mano para indicar un cambio de direcci\u00f3n. Bueno, es cierto que a veces se olvidan los intermitentes, pero esa es otra historia\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Para llamar la atenci\u00f3n de otros conductores, avisar o incluso despertar a alguien en un sem\u00e1foro, ahora solo hay que pulsar el centro del volante o un bot\u00f3n en la palanca de control. Y normalmente, al pulsarlo, el claxon responde al instante. Nada de bocinas de aire sofisticadas: aqu\u00ed tenemos un claxon cl\u00e1sico basado en el principio del \u201cmartillo de Wagner\u201d. Para los curiosos, este peque\u00f1o claxon de percusi\u00f3n, compacto y discreto, funciona como un antiguo timbre mec\u00e1nico.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando se cierra el circuito el\u00e9ctrico, un diminuto martillo es atra\u00eddo por la membrana de acero gracias a un campo electromagn\u00e9tico, generando un sonido. Este movimiento corta al instante la corriente, un resorte devuelve el martillo a su posici\u00f3n\u2026 y el ciclo comienza de nuevo. As\u00ed deber\u00eda sonar el claxon. Luces de freno, limpiaparabrisas, ventilaci\u00f3n\u2026 a veces solo se ha fundido un fusible.<\/p>\n<p>En la mayor\u00eda de los veh\u00edculos, la caja de fusibles se encuentra detr\u00e1s de una tapa debajo del salpicadero, y a menudo hay una segunda en el compartimento del motor. Una pena. Se pelan los extremos de dos cables lo suficientemente largos y se conectan a los contactos del claxon. Luego, basta con tocar brevemente los polos + y \u2013 de la bater\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Ojo con el cortocircuito: la carrocer\u00eda y todas las piezas met\u00e1licas expuestas est\u00e1n conectadas al polo negativo.<\/p>\n<p>Y ahora\u2026 nada. Ni un sonido. Y, claro, la primera tentaci\u00f3n fue probarlo directamente en la bater\u00eda nada m\u00e1s sacarlo de la caja \ud83d\ude0a. Luego, solo qued\u00f3 volver a montarlo todo siguiendo los pasos a la inversa.
