Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 significa exactamente y para qu\u00e9 sirve? Aqu\u00ed te explicamos todo lo que necesitas saber sobre el <strong>\u00edndice de velocidad<\/strong> de tus neum\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el \u00edndice de velocidad y d\u00f3nde se encuentra?<\/h2>\n<p>Cada neum\u00e1tico de coche tiene asignado un \u00edndice de velocidad, que indica la velocidad m\u00e1xima a la que puedes circular con seguridad con ese neum\u00e1tico. Si utilizas neum\u00e1ticos con un \u00edndice de velocidad inferior, es posible que no puedas alcanzar <strong>la velocidad m\u00e1xima de tu veh\u00edculo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Puedes <strong>encontrar el \u00edndice de velocidad<\/strong> en:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>El manual de usuario del coche.<\/li>\n<li>El lateral del neum\u00e1tico: observa las marcas en el flanco; el \u00edndice de velocidad es la letra que aparece al final de la numeraci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>La etiqueta situada en el marco de la puerta del conductor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\u00cdndice de velocidad del neum\u00e1tico: tabla de clases<\/h2>\n<p>Los \u00edndices de velocidad se determinan tras numerosos ensayos. En estas pruebas, los neum\u00e1ticos deben demostrar su fiabilidad y ser capaces de mantener una determinada velocidad bajo carga. Durante el test, la velocidad se incrementa progresivamente de 10 km\/h hasta que el neum\u00e1tico ya no cumple los requisitos. Seg\u00fan la velocidad alcanzada, se asigna al neum\u00e1tico una clase <strong>representada por una letra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La siguiente tabla muestra los <strong>\u00edndices de velocidad que
